These started as a small project while I was visiting my mum in Japan — I saw these sweet fabrics and wanted to make something. Each one is handmade, with a little help from her, and the prints vary. The front combines a plain colour with a pattern print, and each coaster has a small logo I hand-draw myself. The back is pattern print only — you can see both sides in the photo.
